The history of this site is long and twisted, though don't expect much description on the travels of these wolves other than what you hear from the other wolves.
They have now arrived at this world to find it both familiar and foreign to them, with old monsters such as humans and new ones, beasts hiding in wait for the unwary. . .
WEATHER + MOON
Weather :: Honestly I don't know what season it is. Time freezes when there is no activity, just easier that way. When activity picks up we'll have a specific season again.
See the Rules and other important threads for help, ask Cen if you have any questions. ** Exclusive Packs: you must get approval from at least the leader of the pack.

Wolf Profiles (5 sub-boards) Here are the profiles of all wolves. To create a new wolf, follow the form provided in the thread called The Form. Follow the form and check back to see what staff have said about it, or if it has been moved into the Accepted board.
Tundra Steppe Traveling through the Deep Forest and the forest thereafter will bring one to here, a flat and cold expanse of land. The tundra is a cold desert, the mountains in the distance blocking any moisture from reaching this plain. Of course, chances are any rain that does reach here would be frozen or snow. The winds here are dangerous, you better have a thick coat to get by.

Grecos (1 sub-board) This is the home of the Greco Pack. I'm not allowed to tell you where it is exactly... Cen's orders. We need to discuss the "boundaries", but this is the home of the Grecos, native wolves to this planet. Visitors may come, but they aren't very welcome... Talk to 2leez for more info.
Deep Forest Stretching from the cliff is a dense forest, dangerous and wild. A river flows here, the river that leads to the water fall on the cliff and floods the plain at the end of every winter. The forest, though lacking in much human influence, is home to more sinister monsters, and who knows, there might be a cult or two creeping around back there.

Clifftop Looking out over the cliff one can see the flood plain below, a human settlement in the distance.
Slope There are trees here, and a waterfall that feeds the river in the flood plain. The ground can be anything from rocky to muddy down the slope from the cliff. Often there are a few traps set out by humans, particularly in the autumn and winter seasons.

Flood Plain's Forest Down the slope and at this end of the flood plain is a sparse forest, humans hunt here often and are more common here. There might even be a few loggers or shaman living around here, be careful wolves. And don't eat the cattle, no matter how easy the pickings are, chances are a human will find out.

Flood Plain Fields Here the trees are completely gone and the humans till their fields to grow crops. There are irrigation channels throughout, and no cover for wolves. Within site is the crude human settlement with its wooden palisade around it. Be careful of humans and when the plain floods, most of the flooding occurs here where the plain is at its lowest.

Human Settlement Here is were 500 or so humans live, growing crops and livestock, trying to survive in the middle of nowhere. Their town is surrounded by a palisade, a wall with two gates in it, to protect from animals, raiders, whatever humans have to fear. There are some priests and magic users in town, along with the militia. Wolves be careful when coming this close, a cult might like you cut in two, or your pelt might make a fine addition to the village chief's collection. Incurring the wrath of one human here could prove fatal to the other wolves in the region.

Best Paw Forward
Windrun Plains At the southern end of the Flood Plains, the green grass grows more thickly and longer as the earth rises and flattens into a long, wide plain whose main inhabitant is the racing wind- hence the name. As the plain runs south, the grass gets golder and the land gets dryer, running on into the Desert. The only landmark here are the occasional scrubby trees and a few scattered rocks.
Desert A desolate wasteland, more hard, barren earth than sand. Venturing into this No Man's Land is tantamount to signing a death warrant for the foolish, and risky at best under any circumstances. The ground is uneven, and the wildlife unfriendly, and mostly small. The largest thing here would be the occasional fox, and he's much more suited to this place than. Danger board. You've been warned.

High Range Just when you think you're gonna die of thirst and hallucinations, a small stream bubbles to the foot of the formidable High Range where the hem of the mountains meets the baking desert. This range of about eight high mountains is more survivable, there are small forests on the lower flanks and valleys, though the summits are dangerous and inhospitable places.

Coast (2 sub-boards) The craggy rocks give way to grassy, open woods, which quickly slope to the sandy shores and coves, or run straight over the edge of a cliff. The sea air is strong and wild, be careful to watch your step. Who knows what'll happen here, at the edge of the map.
