High Range

Just when you think you're gonna die of thirst and hallucinations, a small stream bubbles to the foot of the formidable High Range where the hem of the mountains meets the baking desert. This range of about eight high mountains is more survivable, there are small forests on the lower flanks and valleys, though the summits are dangerous and inhospitable places.
